Quantum Computing (in AI)
Quantum computing is a new kind of computing that uses the principles of quantum physics to process information in a completely different way from traditional computers. While today’s computers use bits that are either 0 or 1, quantum computers use qubits, which can be both at the same time. This allows them to handle certain calculations much faster and more efficiently.
In the world of AI, quantum computing is still in the early stages but holds exciting potential. It could one day dramatically speed up tasks like training large AI models, solving complex optimization problems, or simulating biological systems. While it is not commonly used in mainstream AI today, researchers are actively exploring how quantum computing could push the boundaries of what AI can do.
