Big Data
Big data refers to huge volumes of information that are too large or complex for traditional computer systems to handle easily. Think of all the photos uploaded every second, all the GPS locations being tracked, or every product ever searched on an online store, that's big data. These massive datasets contain patterns and insights that AI can learn from.
AI thrives on big data because the more examples it has, the better it can understand how things work. For instance, if you're training an AI to recognize cats, showing it 10 pictures won’t be enough, but showing it 10 million pictures from different angles, in different lighting, and with various cat breeds will help it get very accurate. Big data fuels this kind of powerful learning.
